Our most recent dinner
In November of 2009 we raised about $4,000 for COMPASS, the Community of
Musicians, Performers, Artists and Social Scientists, a small learning community at
Millikan High School that collaborates with the Mary Bethune Transitional Center for
homeless children in Long Beach.

What is the Progressive Dinner Party?
We are the party that is different AND can make a difference! We share dinner and wine with friends on
the third Sunday of every other month at the home of a "party member," where we will enjoy each
other's company and contribute the price of an average dinner out to a local cause that benefits
children and families. Occasionally we also host informal gatherings to benefit international causes
that are near and dear to our hearts.
We need your food, wine and house donations!
The homes, food, wine and even plates and napkins are donated by businesses and individuals who
care about making a difference in the community. Read about the biodegradable products we use at
each dinner, and please visit our "Partners" page and support the local businesses who have been so
helpful!

The Organizations that Benefit

donations for several Long Beach non-profit charities that benefit children and families, and more than
$15,000 for international causes that are near and dear to our hearts. Click here for details!
