Kristine Kelly, Spencer Langdon and Josi Jenneskens

KRISTINE KELLY
Kristine Kelly is a SoCal native who, with her husband Erle, has made Long Beach her home for the past 25 years. Having served as president of the LB United Nations Assoc. for the past 12 years, Kristine has handed over her gavel and is now looking forward to helping numerous local charities through the success of PDP.

SPENCER LANGDON
Spencer is a Jayhawker who came to Long Beach from the Emerald City, Seattle, in 1999.  He is father of 2 and grandfather of 4, a biology teacher and an organic gardener.  Along with his wife, Josi, Spencer also works with a group of friends who have made it their mission to get community gardens into as many Long Beach neighborhoods as possible.

JOSI JENNESKENS
Josi Jenneskens is a map maker for a local SoCal city.  She arrived in Long Bach in 1999 via Seattle and Germany and was thrilled to find the PDP in 2008 as she firmly believes in helping people help themselves and giving back to the community around you.  Along with her husband, Spencer Langdon, she is also very active in creating more community gardening space in Long Beach.

NANCY VALENCIA
Nancy Valencia is a native of California born in Long Beach. She graduated from Jordan High School. From California State University Long Beach she earned a Criminal Justice degree with which she worked helping female offenders, reuniting women with their families, providing resources for employment, housing, drug counseling, and parenting classes. She taught elementary school in Long Beach for many years. Five years ago she served as member and later Executive Director of the Governing Board of Downtown Associated Youth Services, an organization dedicated to meeting the educational and nutritional needs of the underserved children of Long Beach. She is currently serving on the boards of the Dorothy and Edwin Baker Foundation, Progressive Christians Uniting, and Rick Rackers, an auxiliary of the Assistance League. She is passionately committed to issues relating to children and social justice.

Adreana Langston


ADREANA LANGSTON
Adreana Langston grew up in Long Beach attending Longfellow Elementary, Hughes Junior High and then the P.A.C.E. program at Long BeachPolytechnic Senior High School.  She then went on to UC Berkeley where she graduated in Mass Communication.  She now resides in downtown Long Beach where she is active in her progressive church and where she freelances as a Graphic Artist, Web Designer and Photographer.

Lenore Brown


ORIGINAL PDPLB MEMBER LENORE BROWN
Lenore Brown has lived in Long Beach for over 20 years, is a Marriage and Family Therapist. She and her husband Don (an active PDP member) are recent “empty-nesters” whose daughter attends Stanford University.

Tere Sievers


ORIGINAL PDPLB MEMBER TERE SIEVERS
Tere Sievers, originally a Jersey Girl, moved to Long Beach in 1971. She and her husband Ron raised their two daughters. A long-time volunteer and community activist, she works as a Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice.
